Matcha Coconut Yoghurt Snack

Matcha Coconut Yoghurt Snack - Awaken by Saraya

The following recipe is so quick and easy to make, but brings so many benefits for your health.

Organic Matcha powder is a key ingredient in this recipe. Matcha contains a natural compound called L-theanine, which promotes relaxation and mental clarity. It can provide a gentle energy boost without the jitters often associated with caffeine.

Coconut yoghurt provides a creamy and smooth texture, but it also offers several health benefits.

Maple syrup is used as a natural sweetener in this recipe. Compared to refined sugar, maple syrup is a better option as it contains more nutrients.

Goji berries and Raspberries, packed with vitamins and fibers to support the digestive system.

Pecan nuts are a good source of healthy fats, rich in antioxidants, including vitamin E, which supports skin health and protects against oxidative damage.

All-natural peanut butter a good source of plant-based protein and healthy fats.

Lastly, the 85% chocolate, is a good source of antioxidants and contains minerals such as iron, magnesium, and copper, which are important for various bodily functions.

Great as a snack or even as dessert. Layer the ingredients as mentioned below and freeze for at least 4 hours.

To keep them easily on hand I cut them up into bite size pieces before putting them back in the freezer.

How to prepare:

 1. Add 4 tbsp of coconut yoghurt to a bowl to which you add 2 tsp of organic matcha powder, mix well until all powder is dissolved and add maple syrup to taste.

2. Add mixture to a baking dish and spread out evenly.

3. Add raspberries, pecan nuts, goji berries and press them slightly inside the mixture.

4. Add 2/3 tbsp of natural peanut butter on top of the mixture, either spread it out as evenly as possible.

5. Melt 50 grams of 85% dark chocolate and spread it on top of all the ingredients and sprinkle some more goji berries.

5. Place the dish for a minimum of 4 hours in the freezer and enjoy!
