Ingredients:
- 2 cups of raspberries (fresh or frozen)
- one cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
-1 tsp cloves
- lemon juice to taste
Optional: Maple syrup - I added one tbsp. You can also opt for coconut sugar or honey. Or none sweetener at all.
Add the cups of raspberries to a pan over medium heat, wait until the big chucks(if you have them) of frozen raspberries have dissolved and add the cinnamon stick. Let this simmer for around 5 minutes, stir regularly so that the fruit will get smaller. Add the sweetener and stir the 2 tbsp of chia seeds into the mixture. Turn off the heat and let the mixture rest for another 5 minutes and add to an airtight jar to cool down.
once cool, store in the fridge up to 5 days.
